Erica Favretti has more than ten years of work experience in the development sector. For eight years she managed humanitarian and development programmes for INGOs like Save the Children and Action Against Hunger in eight countries (Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia).
She has worked in the following sectors: education, health, nutrition, water and sanitation, livelihoods and child protection. Moreover, before joining OPM, as Senior Program Manager for EEG (Energy and Economic Growth), she worked for two years for FHI 360 (USAID contractor) based in Washington D.C. backstopping programs in West Africa. She focused on strengthening civil society organizations and peacebuilding programs.
She earned a Master’s degree in Post War Reconstruction and Development from York University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from American University.
