Shamim has over seven years’ experience in development sector program design, implementation and management as well as conducting environmental and social impact assessments. She is part of the energy resources and growth (ERG) team at OPM. Her areas of work experience include sustainable energy, disaster risk management and social protection. Shamim has experience in the provision of technical assistance to Government institutions, Private Sector and Development Partners such as UNDP, UNECA, World Bank, WFP, FCDO and Enabel. She also has a keen interest in climate change adaptation and mitigation. She holds an Msc. in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management.
