Rakesh Parashar

By training, Rakesh is a physician and a global health specialist and holds a PhD in health policy and systems. Rakesh is currently leading India's health practice and strategy and managing several health projects and research. He has recently completed a comprehensive evaluation and learning work for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he led various health systems studies and synthesis of learnings. He actively writes on health and development matters and has published in several high-impact journals and popular online policy spaces. Rakesh is also one of the international Health Policy Analysis fellows from the 2017 cohort.
