Poverty is much more than a simple lack of income and productive resources - and tackling poverty requires more than just economic growth.  To achieve meaningful and sustainable solutions on the ground, poverty reduction strategies must be rooted in a deep understanding of issues around inclusion and equity in terms of access to resources, services and opportunities. They must also account for the relationships between people and the institutions they interact with.
