Bilal Hakeem

Bilal Hakeem is a monitoring and evaluation expert with over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex monitoring and evaluation projects for large multi-country health and nutrition programmes in low and middle-income countries. He is skilled in the design and use of quantitative data collection and analysis, data quality assessments, independent verification assessments, and field research management. He is currently working as the Programme Manager of Third-party Monitoring of FCDO’s flagship Women’s Integrated Sexual Health Programme (WISH). He is also the Technical Coordinator of Real-Time Assessment of UNICEF’s COVID-19 Response in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Before joining OPM in 2017, he worked as a Research Manager with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), overseeing a portfolio of impact evaluation research activities funded by the World Bank, International Labor Organization, and various US-based foundations.
