Firdaus Hafidz

Firdaus Hafidz is a public health specialist and medical doctor with more than 10 years’ experience in teaching and researching public health policies in Indonesia. Hailing from the University of Gajah Mada in Yogyakarta where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, he started his career as a Mer-C Corps medical doctor in Timika, Papua, where he developed his interest in research on HIV-AIDS. As a Researcher at the Gajah Mada University’s Centre for Health Financing and Health Insurance Management, he has increasingly established expertise in costing analysis for basic health services by working with OPM on the District Level Normative Health Services for the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
